Using Packages in Delphi

Delphi Language :: Although packages were introduced way back in Delphi 3, they are still one of the most powerful and flexible features available in Delphi. Unfortunately, they are also still one of the more mysterious. As a result, the true benefits of packages often go unused, or worse, misused. This article provides a quick introduction to packages and how they can be beneficial to all developers. The remainder of the paper focuses on specific topics related to packages, such as the differences between runtime and design packages, application partitioning with packages, custom component distribution, and more.
