description
Returns the TRect type variable from a rectangle given with top-left and bottom-right coordinate.

Rect returns a rectangle with upper left corner at the point (aLeft, aTop) with width aLeft+aRight and height aTop + aBottom.

example
// see whether the mouse
// is inside the form

var r: TRect;
    CurPos: TPoint;

GetCursorPos(CurPos);
r := Rect(Form1.Left, Form1.Top,
         Form1.Left + Form1.Width,
         Form1.Top + Form1.Height);
if PtInRect(r, CurPos) then
 ShowMessage('Mouse is inside Form1!')
 

Note r equals Form1.BoundsRect;
