For those who don't know, I'm coming from Croatia / Europe. Yes, the About network has Guides from all over the World. As an About Guide to Delphi Programming, my mission is to help you find useful articles and links related to Delphi programming - and with your help, it seems I'm doing a pretty good job.

Borland has recognized the About Delphi Programming site as a major resource for Delphi developers searching for original articles, source code examples, tips, and tutorials for Delphi language programming.
This is the reason why I was invited to present About Delphi Programming site (and the About network) on the Borland Developer's Day on INFO 2002...

Borland Developer's Day on INFO 2002
The Croatian market and those of the countries in the surrounding area are looking for growth and increased interest in IT. INFO (International ICT and New Media Fair) is the most important trade event and leading marketing platform for the IT branch in SE Europe. Among various conferences, workshop and seminars, an event called "Borland Developer's Day" invited Borland developers from all around Croatia and surrounding countries.
Konto, Croatian Borland partner, organized this event (Wednesday, 13 November 2002) and presented Borland and it's two most popular development products: Delphi 7 and JBuilder 8.

This was the presentation schedule:
• 11.15 - 12.00 Borland: Visions and Strategy
• 12.15 - 13.30 Delphi 7 + Demonstration of Web Applications Execution - live
• 14.00 - 15.30 Jbuilder & Borland Enterprise Server Presentation and Demonstration
• 15.45 - 18.00 Presentation of the delphi.about.com site and domestic solutions of Borland Tools Users (Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina)

About Delphi Programming and About.com
Without too much talk about the presentation, here's what has been said about this site and the About.com network:

Your Guide presenting About Delphi Programming site

About Delphi Programming site and About.com
About.com is a major resource for Internet user. With more than 500 specialty areas, each overseen by a professional Guide, it's no wonder About.com is a leader for news, information and entertainment on the Web!

I'm one of About.com's professional Guides and live right here in Osijek / Croatia (Europe). My area of expertise is Delphi Programming, and I have a site on the About.com network solely devoted to Delphi Programming. Here's how About.com works…

Just about any information you as an Internet user may need - whether it's about Delphi programming, Internet for Beginners, Web page design, Databases, or even, animal psychology, interior decorating, or health and fitness -- can easily be accessed at About.com. Pick any topic, and you'll probably find it at About.com.

Once on the topic site of your choice, an About.com Guide (that could be me!) will welcome you and offer many options to further explore the topic you are interested in.

Unlike most sites on the Web today, at About.com a real person leads you through the overwhelming possibilities the Internet offers. You can email a question to your Guide, post questions on a community board about what you're looking for, receive a newsletter and get connected to the other great places on the Web that have been researched and recommended by the Guide.

My site is part of About.com's Computing/Technology Channel. The direct URL to my site is: http://delphi.about.com

As a Guide, I maintain a site devoted to Delphi Programming.
