Ants Colony Simulation - Fancy Delphi Application Contest Entry #45

Individual ants are simple insects with limited memory and are capable of performing simple actions. An ant colony expresses a complex collective behavior providing intelligent solutions to problems such as carrying large items, forming bridges and finding the shortest routes from the nest to a food source.

Want to check out an ant colony generated using Delphi?

Ant Colony Simulation

Ant colony simulator tries to imitate the ants life. Denys has not been guided with known biological rules for Ants behaviour, he stablished his own rules for it, and it the simulator works great.

Give ants some food, set obstacles create caves .. and watch the ant life going on...
