Pong Game - Fancy Delphi Application Contest Entry #35

Pong game is based on the sport of table tennis (or "ping pong"), and named after the sound generated by the circuitry when the ball is hit.

Pong is the game of ping-pong in which a human player (the ping) interacts with an electronic player (the pong).

Want to play one built with Delphi?

A great idea for the Fancy Delphi Application Contest ;-)

Pong - Delphi Version

The game consists entirely of two lines, one on either side of the game area, a dashed vertical line down the center of the screen that served as a net, and a ball that is square (because technology was not available to give it a round appearance at 1972 when it was invented by Atari).

The lines on either side of the screen represented each player’s paddle, with which he or she hits the ball back to his opponent.

The goal of the game is to score as many points as possible by forcing the ball to go past the opponent’s paddle.

In this Delphi version your oponent is your computer!
