What is EurekaLog?

EurekaLog is a most complete bug resolving solution for Delphi and C++Builder developers that gives to the application the power to catch every exception, generating a detailed log of call stack (with unit, class, method, line #, ...), showing and sending it back to you via email or Web.

Installation

EurekaLog is a 5Mb download. The installer detect automatically all the Delphi (from 3 to 2005) and C++Builder (from 5 to 6) available on the system offered the chance to choose which developer environment I wanted to install for.

Documentation

EurekaLog is delivery with a complete CHM help file and a printable PDF manual (on the site is presents an HTML help). The printable manual is a PDF copy of the CHM help file. Both files includes more code examples.

First impression

After the installation I have compiled the source demos delivered with the tool.
My first performed test was the GUI demo raising many exception types, from the simple 'Access Violation' to the 'Threads exception' (exception not handled by the Delphi). For any raised exceptions EurekaLog showed a complete (and customizable) exception dialog split in four (or five) sections.
