"This module was compiled with a Trial Version of Delphi. The Trial period has expired."
Tuesday December 2, 2003
ADP :: Well, I got several email messages from non-Delphi people (read "not developers") that have asked me about this "trial" problem.
It seems many users are expiriencing this trial error ... here's what to do... First, the Delphi trial versions time out after 60 days - applications build with trial versions end too :(
The problem is in the fact that someone was using a trial Delphi version to build a piece of software *you* are currently using on your computer.
The cause of this is explained in more detail in this FAQ, written by a member of Borland Technical Support. The document also includes instructions on how to correct the error. It does not say who created the offending software or how it was distributed.
