function ChangeFileExt(const S: FullFileName, NewExt): string;
Changes the extension part of a string containing full path and file name.
The ChangeFileExt does not create or rename a file - it just returns a string containing a file name with NewExt extension. The NewExt string should start with a dot.
var sAppName, sAppOld : string;
sAppName := ParamStr(0);
sAppOld := ChangeFileExt(sAppName,'.OLD');
//sAppName = c:\FirstDir\SecondDir\SuperAppName.exe
//sAppOld = c:\FirstDir\SecondDir\SuperAppName.OLD
