Delphi 1.0 (back in the 1995 it carried a code name: Delphi 95) was released at the 1995 Software Developers Conference. The rest is history. An article "Delphi history from Turbo Pascal to Delphi 2005" provides concise descriptions of Delphi versions and its history, along with a brief list of features and notes.
Win a Delphi book!
In order to show our continued support for Delphi (and celebrate the 10th Delphi birthday), we've prepared a simple contest/game. Everyone can take a part:The rules are simple:
- Guess the number of the original Delphi programming articles (including tutorials and tips) on this site.
- Email your number to Zarko Gajic.
- One developer with the closest guess (to the exact number) will win a copy of "Delphi for .NET developers Guide"
- NOTE: an entry that misses the number by more than 20% is not valid (will not be included in the final list of possible winners).
- The game ends 31/03/2005
Happy birthday Delphi!
And the Book Goes to...
